Precautions for use include:
Wiring length: The wiring of the magnetic switch should be as short as possible. If long wiring (more than 5 meters) must be used, a contact protection box should be used.
Use in special environments: In strong magnetic environments, use switch cylinders with strong magnetic field resistance; in dusty environments with water or oil droplets, use telescopic protective sleeves on the cylinder rod side.
Force on the piston rod: The piston rod can only be subjected to axial push and pull forces, not radial forces, otherwise the service life of the cylinder will be greatly shortened. If there is radial force, guide rods or slide rails should be added to assist.
Protection of the cylinder action: Safety protection should be added to the cylinder action to avoid harm to people.
Buffer device: When the driven object is large and the speed is fast, the cylinder's own buffering capacity is insufficient, and an external hydraulic buffer or a deceleration circuit is required to assist in deceleration and stopping.
Support for long-stroke cylinders: Supports should be designed in the middle of long-stroke cylinders to overcome the drooping of the piston rod, the bending of the cylinder barrel, and the damage caused by vibration and external loads.
Lubrication issues: Aventics cylinders are generally pre-greased and do not require lubricating oil. However, if lubricating oil is added, the oil supply cannot be stopped, otherwise it will cause malfunction of the cylinder.
